So it's the end of another month. And the beginning of a whole new era for me!
No more fucking around now, I have just become a fully responsible adult, at the young age of 34 lol.
Yesterday I signed the contract to my new flat, first time ever having my own place all to myself. Pretty sad, really. But I've always been fairly lazy on that score and chosen to spend my money on cars and bikes rather than own place.
Problem is I've blown half my entire roll on the privilege! So as from when I eventually get the internet sorted there and am fully moved in next week, I will be having to grind proper hours instead of lazy arsed ones.
I'll probably be sticking with 18-mans mostly, with some 9's no doubt thrown in. I am a very poor recipient of variance so it stands to reason that I play the least variance game I can handle. I can't stand fifty50's or DoN's so that would never happen. I'll definitely be looking to be supernova by the end of the year, something I've never been before. And so I only recently found out, much better rakeback seems to be possible as supernova now than what used to be.
It's gonna be tough, for sure. First thing and very important, is going to be sorting out my grinding station. I find it hard to find a chair I can be comfortable in all day long (have been grinding on the laptop laying on my bed for about 2 yrs lol) so an expensive chair is going to be needed. Choosing one will be almost impossible as there is no trial period allowed for chairs afaik. Maybe there is, I haven't looked into it, but I shouldn't imagine you can get one, assemble it then disassemble and send it back in a week lol. Plus there's the type of desk, I can't sit with my arm forward on a desk all day it needs to be to my side therefore I would need a surface to the right of my chair to place the mouse etc etc blah blah, loads of trial and erroring to do before I can truly grind stupid hours.
Anyway, enough of that. Onto the month's review. Well not alot to talk about, really. Most of my games were 18-mans with a few hundred 9's and a few 180's in there. Let's hope next month sees a ridiculous amount of volume!
