Wait a minute, TWO almost simultaneously made wheels hold up vs sets that miss their boats? What's so bad about that? Well, dear reader. In the usual pokerstars pattern it is 100% a VERY bad sign. Starting off this well is not something you want to see happen, because it means a bad session is on it's way. Indeed things went horribly all day thereafter (well only 70 games) to record a t100k negative chip ev difference despite winning $150 overall.
Today I included $30-18s in the mix and it was thanks to doing OKAY in those that enabled me to win a few bux. What I found playing in them was very simlar to what I found when playing the mid stakes 9-mans many moons ago in around 2009. And that was; yes, there are more and slightly better regs in the games, but the fish are actually worse than the $15's. I always believed this to be the case and still do today, the fish in higher stakes games are often ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS compared to lower stakes fish. This is why you'll often find regs ROI's over decent samples can be higher in the mid stakes than the low stakes. I always found this to be true of the old FTP 9-mans. Nearly every reg's $30 ROI was better than their $20, mine included. Very odd.
I'm very annoyed with myself right now. After having possibly the best week the year, I just realised I forgot to play my last 20 games for a damn good shot at getting 1st in Neptune BOP! FMLFMLFMLFMLFMLFMLFMLFMLFMLFMLFMLFML

So I'm even more pissed about the BOP cock-up today. The 20 or so games I forgot to play at the $30 level I have now played and would have made a score that beat first place 
Basically over 113 of them I've run at 68% ROI LULZZZZ!! So that's $900 for 1st place I've missed out on. Really wanna smash my own face in for it.
But anyway I musn't be greedy as I think this is the best run good I've had over my entire poker career. Graph since I last posted one.
It's been over a month since I last posted. These last couple of months of the year have been pretty exceptional for me, I think mostly in terms of run-better (I still refuse to accept it as run-good lol), but also I do feel my skills have improved a slight amount which has helped in not only maximising any run-half decent but also in minimising losses during run-not so decent!

I haven't decided yet on moving to Stars, another thing I also thought of, is that Denmark is going to regulate poker in 2012, and Ongame is going to apply for a license, and I don't think/not sure if stars is going to apply for one. A big issue because I'll be in Denmark for at least 3/4 of 2012.

While I'm not playing due to being in a massive huff about the fact that what I aniticpated would happen has happened to the precise degree I thought it would, I'll do a little update.
December finished thus:
So another decent month making my final quarter of the year probably my best ever.
However, my prediction was that the new year would bring a flicked doomswitch and that is exactly what has happened. We're now back to running into AA a million times a day. I just had my worst EVER losing session, which was always bound to happen sooner or later since I've upped to $30 games. But it was still bad in terms of average buy-ins, over 30.
It was from 37 games during which according to my database I shoved into AA 14 times. Real sickening.
All the regs are out in full force straight away battling for sharkscope top spots. So when you are doing the same thing it's crucial to at least run halfway to expectation but it never ever happens in January. Guess I'll just have to be patient.

Today (sunday) I have fired up a few leisurely MTT's; mainly from boredom but not really wanting to grind properly. Included in the 9 total games played was a $25 6-max hyper with 1100+ entrants. I ran pretty well in it to be fair, as you would expect to have to in a hyper!! Anyways I managed to make it all the way to the FT!! 6th went out and there I was in 5th with about 4bbs. Button on 20+bbs raises and I'm in the SB as easily the shortest by a country mile; with A6o. Easily ahead of his range but with no FE so decide on a stop n go.
It probaby would have worked had he not binked top pair with Q9o!! 
So gg me for a pretty nice $1242. First was $4.5 or so.
I also played the $1r 3x turbo which is imo the most value for money tournament on Pokerstars. With a $30k gurantee the overall prize pool is usually TRIPLE that!!! Anyways I was double rebuying a million miles an hour as all-in after all-in failed miserably, until I just managed to get upto t30k for the add on period, whereby the add on is another 30k. Shortly after the restart this hand occurs lol.

It's very lucrative though with like a $14k top place most nights for just 7hrs work at $1 buy-in!!
