I was sure this shit is behind me but it looks like I'm still capable to make mistakes like that. My plan when he donks is to call the flop bacause it is super weak to fold and to fold on the turn since he rep a set only. Than on the turn and river I convinced myself that he would do that with FD and f... him, I call. Will try a short session now at the uni.

No updates last few days, busy, busy... or lazy, lazy

Poker was going good untill last 2 days. I was getting close to doubling my 888 BR which would allow me to take my first ever shot at NL100. However last 2 days made wanna Nothing spectacular though. It does not include me getting drunk and flush my BR down the toilet or something but still sucks. Lost 7 NL50 BIs since then and it looks like I'll be stuck at NL30, NL50 for a while. I feel a little bit tempted to move the rest of my roll to 888 and shoot higher but I also enjoy the sense of having a cushion so I'll probably try to fight it for a while.

Beside that 888 is still soft. I managed to add some marginal spots I'm starting to feel very comfortable in now. However I really need to adjust my strategy against people that fight back on every flop because my Cbet success rate is droping a little bit since my move to 888. Another leak is me starting to call too many wide 3bets with marginal hands not having a plan for later and ending up calling with pairs and folding my air. Even in position I'm losing money when I do that.

Nice upswing lately Managed to finish March about 400$ up + another 200~ of bonuses over a sample of ~50k hands. 9 BIs above EV on NL50 It looks like I'm playing really fishy and punishment is about to come soon. Meanwhile my roll at 888 is getting closer to a NL100 shot once again so the 888 regs better get ready for the giveaway On a side note yesterday I lost the biggest pot in my life - 200BB at NL50. Decided to go for 4bet bluff with my blockers. He was 3betting OOP very actively - 9%
On the turn I was pretty sure he had AK, maybe QQ somethimes. On the river I need to win 20% for breakeven call but in order to do so he has to have QQ and KQ in his range here, except for AA and AK. He has decent looking stats so anything else in his range is wishfull thinking probably but I just frustration called. Not sure if I'm capable of folding here ever.

Just finished my biggest winning session ever ♠_cool: 5 hours, 2600 hands, 13 BIs up. Starting to collect NL100 shot money now. I will try it with 5-6 BIs to spare. Problem with moving up is that I'm not studying as much as I should last few weeks but on the other hand playing fish and maniacs is the nuts so as long as there are some of them at NL100 it might be ok

Friday night was supposed to be the big night, however I didn't felt like playing at all and not just NL100 but anything. Just logged on, opened some tables and untill the BB got to me I chickened out of it and watched some dumb movies or something. Last night decided to man up so I played a short session and added 1-2 NL100 tables to my NL50s. Haven't shitted my pants yet, but on the other hand I played only 350 hands and I'm down 1 BB ♦ I was playing carefully, mostly observing the action, without trying crazy shit. We were 3 handed with a fish and villain here had reggish 19/15 stats. C/r on flop against his wide BU range after playing tight for a while. Turn is a good barrel card so I bet big and after his call I gave up. He shoves river, I fold and he showed 97s Why he ever play like that on the river? What better hand is folding and what weaker is calling that? Isn't he supposed to check back with his bluffcatcher here?

Anyway I noticed the action seems to be much more agresive compared to NL50, but good news are I saw some of the NL50 fishes playing there as well so I might be able to do well. Will see how it goes in the next few days, hope my next post wouldn't have to be busto report

NL100, that's awesome! Make sure you don't level yourself too much or to play with scared money. I started spewing around when I shotted NL100.

@ lpdlamei - thanks, man It feels really awesome to finally get there. I know what you mean about spewing - did it on both NL25 and NL50 the first time I played them. So far I'm able to contain myself, but I might be getting a bit on the nitty side - did some open/fold plays with AK and JJ against aggressive 3-better. At least no leveling shit so far - stuff like "he has 10% 3bet which means he never has the nuts preflop" is being avoided.

@ DrDunne - yep, go figure what he was hoping to achieve with this play. As for your question I made my third attempt at NL25 last September with 1k. Since February I splitted bankroll and moved to 888 with 1.3k and played NL30, NL50 and now trying out NL100 with about 30 BIs. I will drop to NL50 if I'm down to 24-5 BIs. So it happened very quickly which made me appreciate how win rate (soft platforms) beats rakeback, promotions and so on.

Beside that NL100 has wellcomed me with a rollercoaster on my 2d session with bunch of big pots, which luckily ended 3.5 BIs up, with me running a bit over EV like a pro. After I do my review tommorow I'll know if it was just rungood or I should take some credit for it as well. However the limit seems to be crazy. I had some unbelievable hands:

I have no idea what he tried to do there. The only thing I would do different in this hand is to bet a little bigger on turn in order to give myself better odds to call a push.

I should try to force myself to play a little more tonigh because my sessions are getting shorter last few days. I still have some 250$ to clear from my FDB bonus and I have untill 19th of May for this. Shouldn't be a problem if I stick to NL100.

There is something else I was thinking about recently. Since I'm playing untill early in the morning it results in a very unhealthy sleeping pattern for me and even though I love it now it is probably not the best thing long term. Also I drasticly reduced my sleeping hours and very often play untill 3-4 AM and get up at 8-9 AM and that is simply too little. Nothing to do about it though since I don't feel I have a big edge on the regs so table selection is crucial for me and that limits my options. Will try to get some ideas what to do with it.

Today session was pure sickness. My biggest winning session ever, 11 BIs up at NL100, my first 1k day and unless something really bad happen April should be my first 2k+ month. I'm feeling unreal thinking that last August I was still donking around with NL10 and now I'm rolled up to shoot the midstakes. I feel such adrenaline now that even though I played for like 8 hours I'm not sleepy at all. Will go out to watch the sunrise after done with the post.

Villain was 3betting a ton, showed suited K, Q, J all the time, played some 3bet pots with him untill now and got the impression he just 3bets this hands 100% of the time and don't care too much about image, frequencies etc. Leveled myself into calling even though he didn't go all the way with his bluffs usually. Got upset with my play and stoped playing short after it.

Up in my first 2 sessions in May, but small volume and a lot of rungood to compensate for my mistakes. Not that I'm complaining but still.

Plans for the near future:

BR wise I'm close to collecting 5-6 extra BIs to spew off at NL200. Trafic there seems to be getting low but I saw some fishiezz so there should always be a room for one more I expect to give it a shot at the end of the week or so. Will keep it updated.

Today I wasted the whole day. At some point I got scared I'm not going to get anything done and decided to hit the tables in the middle of the day - something I avoid doing lately. I didn't like the 888 tables so I logged onto my Stars account and loaded 4 Zoom NL2 tables for the lols That was the first time I play it, haven't played rush neither. I kinda liked it - it is relaxing game at NL2 and after they owned me for 2-3 BIs at the begining I made some adjustments and ended up 8-9 BIs up in 1:30-2 hours. No hud unfortunately but you don't really need it there anyway. I might start playing more to rest from my grind.

Then I had a football game at the evening. Long session was planned to happen after that. However on my way I got a call from a friend who said there were going to be some foreign girls with him and they were going to hit the clubs so I was invited to join. So I played the game, rushed bak home for a shower, jumped on my bike again and went to the center, where it turned out that the girls stood my friend up Cooler. We went to drink some beers but it was boring so after 1-2 hours I went back home and played a short session. Played really bad, pushing equity hands like FDs and OESDs in spots with no fold equity but thanks to some nice setups and all the spewing fishiez ended 1 BI up.

5 BIs collected for NL200 shot, I might try it at Friday or Saturday night. Bring it oooon ♠_evil: ♠_evil:
