Yeah, not too worried about the results for now. Just focussing on playing well and hopefully the results will come.
Well the new desk and computer move went without hassle. Really happy with it and looking forward to adding another monitor or a larger one in the very near future. Probably going to add a TV screen too for the wall to watch various sports on. Still need a filing system to get my shit in order.
Looking forward to a productive November.

OMG, switched on Pokerstars TV last night only to see my mate from Bolton casino has made the FT of UKIPT IOM. It was only last Friday I had a £20 last longer side bet with him in the local game. He won!
Keep an eye out for Adam Topping, an up and coming young player with 11.5k locked up.

I've not played any SAts for ages for UKIPT as they tend to eat into my BR. I may however try out for Nottingham.

Ferry over from Hull friday evening, all night. Get into Amsterdam for 10.30am, enjoy the delights of The Dam for 6 or so hours then get picked up for ferry at 5pm. Fall asleep on bus back to Rotterdam then straight to bed on ferry!!

I'd rather not talk about the casino on the ferry, it gets me every time.

Been feeling a bit down this week. It could be down to having two heavy weekends with the lads and a bit of alcohol depression kicking in!!
The new job "honeymoon period" has well and truly worn off now and the realisation that I am still fixing trucks is also getting me down. The fact that I now work shifts (6am-2pm and 2pm - 10pm) is also not the best situation for me either TBH.
So, it's all doom and gloom at the minute for me. 
My poker is not going too well either. After starting my SNG career I made a profit only on the first month and none since. It seems in this game the more I learn the more I realise I have no clue about so much. I think in the long term this will be a good thing. At least I realise I am shit at it!! I suppose I am being a little hard on myself as it's only been a short time since I started to take it seriously. I have just had a look at some of my first posts, LOL, I was doing the NL beginners course in April this year, when I managed to hit that 7K score live. 
So, moving forward:
This weekend sees me playing another one of my 25/25 series £220 bi's this time at my local Bolton G casino, for which I qualified online. I play flight 1 on Friday, then hopefully on to day 2 on Sunday. I'm going to the rugby league world cup final on Saturday so it's going to be a full on weekend.
As for my online exploits? I really don't know where to go from here. I said I would get to 1000 6 max SNGs and see where I'm at so that's what I'll do. I'm currently at 850 with an ROI of 1.12, playing mostly $7's with a scattering of $3.50's and $15's. I suppose a small profit is always good when starting out. I am still learning.
I should be at 1000 before the new year which will be a good point to evaluate.
Let's hope I can provide a detailed report of how I took down 15K in a wonder post here next week!! GL me ♦

Busted late into day 1 shoving 16 bigs from the BB with 55 into a button raiser with AJ, obv he flopped an Ace.
Pretty happy with the way I played to be honest. I was pretty well tuned in despite a very tilting week at work. Still loads of work needed but I made a couple of great river hero calls and did quite well with my range work. Obv. not that well though!!
So it was on to the cash tables for an hour or so. Bought in for £200 on the 50p/£1 table and was quickly up to just under £300. Taking advantage of the drunken loose cannons, which often takes some bold moves. Then came a big hand. I'm on the button with K2cc and its raised up £6 by a drunk and called by another, I call.
Flop is Qh10c9c first guy leads out for £30, call, call. Pot around £110.
Turn card is Ac. first guy leads for £45, call, call. The guy in the sandwich only has £20 left behind and the first £68. I'm thinking if I shove I'll be getting called anyway so I may as well guarantee the rest going in on the river. That doesn't really make any sense now I wrote it. PLEASE DO NOT PAIR THAT BOARD!!!!!!
River, Qs. FUCK. First guy tosses in his last £68, other guy shoves in his last £20 and I'm sat facing 2 pissed up idiots hating life!!! I call, just because of the size of this pot and the dynamic.
middle guy announces straight and tables KJ for a flopped monster. First guy announces "I had the world from the flop" (idiot) and tables Q10. UUUUuuuurgh!! I muck and am down to £140 odd. Play a couple more hands then leave.
Few hours sleep and its up and off to the Rugby League World Cup Final at Old Trafford. Life's not too bad.
No day2 tomorrow so may just grind some SNGs.

It was a pretty boring final TBH Laz. Totally one sided but a decent atmosphere and the best team definately won!
My November didn't start too well so mid way through I decided to have a coaching session with Tim64. As always he pointed out numerous leaks, most of which are glaringly obvious and should be spotted by any decent thinking player. This seems to be my problem in poker and in life. I know it's wrong but still do it!!!
I also did some work on ranges which has always been a weak part of my play. I felt pretty uncomfortable but needed that to motivate my progression I feel. I will defo work hard on this aspect of my game as it is an integral part of any solid poker play.

As you can see I had dropped like a stone which was due to both bad play and run bad yet again. Mostly bad play. I had been playing according to NASH but soon realised that this is not always optimal and since noticed on many threads that this is a common theme amongst poker players. Something I am also continuing to work on. I must adjust accordingly.
So after my coaching session which was 30 something dollars I managed to drag myself out of the mire and finished with just a -$33 deficit. Run good? Coaching session? Coincidence? We will never know but I can not speak highly enough of Tim. He is such a nice guy and I feel privileged to be in such good company here at PS.
Anyway, all that blowing smoke up peoples arse's stuff aside, here's looking forward to next month. December may be a sparse one on the volume front what with Christmas and all that jazz but I will continue to play as much as possible and continue my studying also as much as pos.
I think I'm a few tweaks off of becoming a winning player. Still learning and realising how little I know.

I managed to get suspended from my new job. Totally lost the plot with my supervisor. I've got a meeting on Monday to find out the outcome. I hate fixing trucks so will only miss the money. Maybe getting the bullet will give me the kick up the arse I need to get something I do enjoy, watch this space!!
The most recent IVF process is going good so keeping everything crossed and hoping to hit the right side of variance for that one. We are due some run good in that one.
Played some live cash last night, Yaaaawwwwnnnnnn!!!! I can not sit and 1 table live cash, especially not at 25p/25p. vpip/pfr 75/50 LOL (prob a slight exaggeration). Had a great deal of fun but lost a few quid. Pretty pointless though but at least I learned I neeeeed action!
Online wise I am running pretty bad but my red line is for once indicating it is most definitely that. So while the $ disappears I can look forward to some epic run good very soon.
