Cash flea here are crazy, tables put in every corner of the casino. I hear they had to move the 25 to make room for more cash tables.
Played cash until 4am. About even money and drunk so Phew!

I'm through day2 of the 25 with 57k though. Still got some distance before making some £.
I opted for an early return home after my pal busted. Brownie points from Mrs. B.
I think I'm going to go down Thursday next year, I need multiple bullets.

Lasted about 4 more hours, 42 got paid and finished around 70th I think. Had an e nny table day 1 though, was a good laugh. I felt a little out of my depth though, quite a few good players.
Next year!
I came home from my trip expecting to see at least a 5 figure score from both of you.

I've not had a great deal of luck in Bolton but it's my local and I'm looking forward to this one.

With the home ground advantage, anything less than shipping is unacceptable.

Look down at QQ in MP. Raise 2.5x. Table bully a very good player (he chopped the high roller at UKIPT Nottingham this year) on button 3 bets. I four bet to 11k. He 5 bets to 17K and has me covered. I start to wish id flatted his 3 bet. Nar, not against him he can't really have it here. I shove for 45K and he snaps. KK.

Against any other player at the table I fold to the 5 bet.
May be my last until after the baby. We're booked in for a C section on 18th September, but obviously she could come before so may not be playing Leeds a GUKPT but will let stakees know.
So disappointed

After the initial disappointment from the weekend I feel pretty good about my performance.
At least I am aware of the mistakes I made (too many). I felt comfortable in such intimidating surroundings. I must say it was a pleasure playing with the Devilfish, we had a great laugh which was helped by the fact we're from the same home town!
The guy who knocked me out after decimating my stack a few hands earlier actually went on to win it which oddly or not eases the pain slightly. I checked him out and he is a cash game beast from the Vic in London and came 5th in an EPT. I assumed he was a baller after spotting his Breitling timepiece!!
My first GUKPT Main event and great experience. Loved the slower structure.
