vpip 78/62 you need to loosen up you play to Tight
Yesterday played my first NL 1K session) won $600 after 550 hands ♦ it was 1000$, but I made incredibly stupid move with 40BB stack at the end) Hope I will be lucky enough today
Don`t have much impressions about the limit, since played too little. But yesterday was insane) tables are full of short stacks, but bad ones. Some people simply finishing their rolls, but some re-buy 10BB all the time and go all-in with any trash) So advertising effect worked pretty well and I were getting called with some very weak hands. But I think it won`t last for very long, since there are way less players playing.
update: lovely upswing

Final Pot: $1480
MP2 shows: K♦ T♠
Hero shows: 5♣ A♣
Hero wins $1477 ( won +$792 )
MP2 lost -$690.00
The toughest river call I've made so far ♦
I am running extremely well on NL 1k. PT shows $4 541 (including $792) after only 4k hands ♦
Godlike ;).
I had no idea there are 96/75 players at no limit one thousand...
By the way: are you playing deepstacked only against such guys or did you swich to bss in meantime?
Well, since I`ve made it all the way from NL 10 to NL 1000 on Mansion, I have a solid DB for higher limits and I know a lot of players. So under some conditions I can buy-in deep and I don't necessarily need pure maniacs, just 2-3 weak, easy-exploitable players.
Atm, I am considering whether to stay on NL 1K or give NL 2k a try (with a short stack)

My man ;). Go go go ;).
My progress in March can be found here
March: Show your style!
I've decided to make a full-time switch to NL cash 5-max (deep stack, obviously :)) I've set myself a goal to become NL 200+ regular by the end of May) Currently, I am planning my schedule that include watching all available SH Videos, visiting 6 coachings per week, private coachings and of course, ton of literature and hands posting.
Later, when i get used to the new game environment, I will be also thinking about sweat sessions.
I also made my first meaningful cashout (around 2k euros), which I am going to reinvest in poker, by buying a new laptop) the rest will be spent on software and subscriptions.
Anywayz, ill keep updating from time to time)
good luck
thank you, guys.
keep away from pokerstars
lol, why?)
5max. I am going to stay in ongame and standard SH games are 5max there.
there is no middle position
keep away from pokerstars as i play there, and the last thing i need when i move up a limit is some insane russian genius 24-tabling SH cutting into my +++EV
hi xylere, just read all your blog, it was really fascinating. You moved up in limits so fast its pretty impressive, but I guess you re really working hard and it pays off.
I play on mansion too and I sometimes watch big boys tables like NL 1K +, I'd be interested in knowing your screen name there
gl at the tables
really nice blog. My problem is that your stats screenshot are too small to see anything...
