Step up... to the WSOP! [GAME OVER!]

Got fed up of not playing. Haven't had 30 consecutive minutes to play a Step in the last few days so I played a hyper satellite (2 seats go through) and shipped T$55.

So now I have the a total 9 BIs for Step 1s (all BR included)

Following from some epic advice from our very own pleno1, I am going to play a few tournaments around the time of the SM. Just so that I don't get over spewy in that. So will use $11 for the Storm (gonna late reg into this) and reg into a couple smaller donkaments to keep myself focused

This will be quiet short as all I've done poker wise the last 4 days is play 2 Step 1 games ♦

I got a retry in my first and exited the second one 8 handed when villain shoved in the SB with A8 and I called with KK. Ace on the river killed any chance there

So Sunday is fast approaching and I will be registering into the Sunday Million Gonna need a bucket load of run good so let's go with that. Someone has to win it right?

Been a hectic week at work so I'm chuffed that it's over now and I won't be back there until Wednesday. Thank God for bank holidays!

Just be mindful/careful of people set-mining in the early levels, stack/blind relative sizes are immense early on and the potential to get sucked in is big.

Think marathon not sprint ♠_grin:

@Bart - yes indeed, set mining will be something to watch out for surely - let's hope I can get some sets and get paid early on.

@pleno1 - TAG has always been my strategy and I hope I've come a long way since my last SM attempt to be a little more aggressive when it truly matters.

The plan for the day is to have a nice relaxing morning and afternoon with my family before hitting the felt in the late evening.

Been trying to get a Step 4 game running all morning but no joy so far

Did play a Step 1 and ended up in third for a retry. Had some horrible luck when 3 handed and ended up with just a retry

Just under 12k at the first break if anyone is interested.

Playing well so far. Playing more aggressively than normal. Soul read a guy in my biggest pot for just over 2k

A few chips under the average at the moment on 12k.

Playing too many pots at the minute so gonna have to slow myself down now. Table has become very aggressive. Had a 5k hand with AA and guy tells me he folded TT on a board of J9x9

After that I lost a number of smaller pots where I missed flops etc.
