Still too early to decide to be honest.

Been browsing around the lobby and I've seen a $700 satellite to the ME. Would probably stand a greater chance if I managed to ship a Step 5 playing that satellite than I would playing Step 5 and then Step 6!

It's all up in the air right now!

i would prob really try to win step 4 and then play 700$ satty, Step 5 and step 6 is only very good regs full.

Probably will :)

Getting a Step 4 running is proving quite the task at the mo.

Been trying for a couple of days now and still nothing. May have to move out of my turbo comfort zone to get a game though.

Well I finally got what I wished for.... a crack at Step 4!

As expected it was a reg fest with a lot of winning players, 2 Supernovas and a Supernova elite for good measure.

Was pretty excited to sit down and play above my level and was hoping to run better than I did last night in the Sunday Million.

Level One: t10/20

Won two of the first three points uncontested. Opened 2.5x from the BU in hand two and from the CO in hand three. Had Aces in the second hand but got no bite.

Level Two: t15/30

Played nothing again until the BU arrived and found 22 but no action to my 2.5 raise.

Level Three: t25/50

First bust out of this SNG was when a SuperNova KO'ed the only other fish at the table. Fish slow played a top two flop as he called the SNs small bets until the river. He shows some aggression finally but it's all in vain as the SN shows a rivered set to send him home.

Level Four: t50/100

No hands played in this level. Was still on my starting stack but found myself card dead.

Level Five: t75/150

Noticed the guy on my left was uber tight so I opened every SB against him. Managed to keep getting through to keep my stack in OK shape.

I shoved my stack into the middle for the first time when I found AQ in MP3. No action again. The SN who had previously doubled lost half his stack when his AK could not catch up to 77.

The next three hands shaped the tourney for me a lot. I opened AA from UTG1 and AK from UTG which both got folded around but this put me over 2k chips and just a couple chips off the leader.

Next hand was the big one and I found AKo again. This time the SN (CL) min raised and I 3x. He tank shoves and at this point I had no other option to do the same.

A :spade:A :club: vs J :diamond:j :spade:

Flop: :spade:8 :diamond:K

Turn: A :diamond:

River: K :diamond:

Nice flip and put me in command with 4.4k chips over the rest of the field.

Level Six: t100/200

We lost 2 further players in a short space of time. The SN from the race above and the tight guy on my left and within the same level we were down to 5 handed play when another SN busted.

Level Seven: t150/300

Game got really tight and didn't really open up until we lost the 5th place finisher.

Level Eight: t200/400

After this the cards never came and as the blinds went up my stack was going down.
Shoved correctly in the right spots but people were folding shoves with 3BBs and it just looked like it wasn't meant to be.

Level Nine: t300/600

I entered this level with 3k chips and 2/4 place but being card dead got the best of me and I ended up shoving decently K6s into ATs. Unfortunately he had me dominated with the same suit also. I did hit a six on the flop but the turn brought the Ace and I exited in 4th for a Step 3 return.

#ThatIsThatThen

-------------------------------------------------------

So I have currently left in my account:

$1.06
1 Step 1
2 Step 3s

:(

Retry in the other Step 3!

Played a normal speed game and nearly spewed myself into a oblivion! Managed to finish 5th somehow despite losing 500 chips twice in the early stages

Built myself back up and held on to bust in 5th!

Regged into a Step 3 Turbo and waiting for it to load up!

Was procrastinating over whether to do this or an $82 Hyper Turbo tournament all day. Having some visitors over later so if this gets up and going in the next 15 I'll play it and if not I'll go play the $82 hyper 6 max at 5pm....

EDIT:

Didn't reach registration in time + a Team Online member regged and everyone disappeared

Looks like it's the $82 hyper this evening then....

Missed the start by 11 minutes! No point registering late my edge would be gone big time!

May get time tonight to play a Step 3!
