Thazar, NL50 Zoom

My game has deteriorated quite dramatically recently. Due to a combination of an enormous amount of bad players around and some run bad I have tried adapting (badly) my game to those players. Also an almost defeatist attitude seems to have crept up.

Here are some really fishy lines that have become parts of my game:

- I have become way to passive pre and post
- I can't let go my hand, I look way too much at absolute hand strength
- I don't get enough value of my good hands (try to keep villain into the hand)
- Use too many standard lines

Now it is time to turn around and get those chips back and now off to work

i know the feeling.

i actually noticed that if i don't focus at late night (when everywhere is swarming with fish) i actually slowly bleed huge amounts of money.
the fish really run me over with their light min3betting and value minbetting and such lines ♦

we know what we have to do, but need that focus ♦

would check turn call most rivers never fold

Time to turn it around Fab, we know you can do it!

There is a time and a place for everything, well except for maybe hanging on too long.

I discovered I have a HUGE leak calling river bets.

Then I get AQo and by the turn I have Q59Q on board w/ two clubs.
Villain has called two 3/4 pot-sized Cbets.
Club comes on the river.
Villain shoves.

Could he really be calling w/ a FD? I don't think so, but I do figure he could have AA, KK or even another AQ, so I said, "Ah - shit, here goes another stack", and called.

had my first winning session in a while now ♦

played very focused. folded plenty of premium hands post flop and got max vlaue plenty of time. also I took load so f notes and categorized opponents as soon as I sat at the table.
I must say people are really really bad and it is hard to take to be losing vs them normally ♦.

but will get there.

I have been playing a lot this weekend (16.5 hours to be exact ) . was doing 2 hours sessions max, 4 tables with occasional 5 tables picks when exceptionally fishy and and didn't have all reggy tables.

I have also started marking all my opponents, as soon as I sit at a table. unless proven otherwise 3table or more is a reg and 1 table is a fish. then going by stack size, reload and finally with a few hands betting habits.

I have been playing very very conscious and made some massive fold. and I have come back and played a couple of session back at NL50 already. I still think I could have done better pre flop and have folded a couple of AK and once KK where it waws pretty obvious villain had KK+.

The player pool is on average very bad, and there are just a few regs that when on my table and OOP vs them I struggle.

So I am back on track. Since last night however I am feeling horrible (some type of flu it seems). I have slept most of the day gonna have a good shower and maybe have a small session depending on how I feel.

Also had a sweat session with drunken Roo on saturday night

As I mentioned last night I'm currently running 9 buyins below EV but I just look at it as future winnings !!!

Also I listen to everything you say in the sweat sessions as you know I respect your opinions very much.......even though you talk in a french accent
