That hurts. I always think about the time when EV will be at least the same amount below green line.

You know I thought I was getting screwed running 5-6BI's under EV this month. But looking at this I feel pretty damn good!

Hope things turn around soon for you!!

I just hope i keep winning. I'd rather have some money at the end of the month and be 30BI below ev than the other way around

Now your platinum I'm sure things will be different. I've been avoiding gold status for months because its rigged...

I had to go to the office yesterday, so long drive to Bristol on Monday evening and long drive back yesterday. I managed to squeeze a session each night but my game wasn't there.

I found that the issue was basing my assumptions on bet size and other factors rather than hand ranges.

Thinking, he cbets small... he normally cbets big it must be a week hand, on a very dry board... then he tank calls my relatively large raise (with TPNK)... he must be unsure of his hand (rather than what would he call me with when there are not many draw etc...) I ended up shoving the turn and getting snapped called by the nuts.

I still managed to clock a winning session over all but it could have been much better if I did not do a few of those.

Those situations to are very noteworthy; they got you that time but it wont happen again because I bet most can't adapt as fast as you.
Either that or if your game is 'off' just sit out, it'll still be there tomorrow.

My game was off... sitting out is not necessary, just realising what you are doing wrong and fix it. But it was time to end my session anyway when I realised it was off

thinking of the conversation in JB's blog about GTO, I am just playing so far off GTO because there are just too many spots to exploit by deviating.

yes I am not concerned and as I said I don't expect to collect hte ev back as variance got no memory... but if I keep play my A-game I am winning whether I am massively below EV or not (in the long run ), so it doesn't matter and I am not phased by it.

I think he made all that back in the PLO session he played on the coaching that Sunday. Yes, you didn't get all in behind but flopping the nuts with every trash hand is quite some run hot!
