solid month as always
Nice to Not see you much in hypers mate. GL in may
Hi everyone!
Havent posted a long time. Two updates from my life:
(1) Got accepted for the PhD studies in the department of Theoretical Philosophy in the University of Tartu ♠_cool:
(2) Turned 30 on the 28th of August ♠_o:
Summer was supersunny and warm in Estonia, so i tried to take the max out of it.
However, the plan is to continue to play poker while studying in the uni.
Some poker talk too:
I calculated my total rakeback so far by playing 6max 235 Fpp sats for the Sunday Storm. 2 places got the ticket worth of 11$.
305 games played for total of 71 675 FPP-s
Won 110 games (1st or 2nd place), thats 36% itm
That equals 1210$
1$ = 59.2 FPP
(compare: when buying 200$ for 15 400 FPP from the vip store, 1$ = 77 FPP)
1FPP = 0.01688$
That is equivalent of 23.2% rakeback as Platinum.
When buying 200$ packets from the vip store, 71 675 FPPs is worth 930.8$ which is 279.2$ less than earned 1210$.
Total time of playing was 8 hr, which means that i made 279.9/8=34.9 $/hr taking the difference.
So playing those 235 FPP hyper sats is definitely better for me as a means of rakeback even taking into account the time of playing (since my $/hr is less than 34$ when playing my regular games as an alternative).
If someone earns more than 30 $/hr by playing his/hers regular games, then its probably not better for him/her to play those sats as a means of rakeback.
305 games might not be a convincing sample, but consider also that the variance in those games is probably less severe for 3 reasons:
(1) No itm play.
(2) Due to (1), there is also less variance in pre-itm play, because there are lot of situations where you can take a safer option.
(3) They are fishy.
