So I leave early 2morrow for the train to Nottingham, tourney is 2 day event on saturday and sunday, so you guys prob won't hear from me till Monday when I arrive back in London.
Wish me luck folks, would be epic to ship another 10-30k ♦ This tourney is a warmup for the bigger main ones which I intend 2 play.

So I am finally back from Nottingham, I pld a few mtts on my way there and here is pretty much what happened.
Arrived at Nottingham on Friday and pld a small mtt at Gala Casino for a warmup since I haven't pld live in ages..Results:
Tourney 1 Gala Casino: 13 pound bi rebuy tourney. Entrants 38, finishing position 1st for 400 pounds, made a deal with last 3 people giving me the first place finish for 400 pounds. First was really 470 and i had prob 4 to 1 chip lead v 2 opponents..But I said I might aswell take it since my cousin who came with me wanted to leave 
Tourney 2: Dusk till Dawn qualifier seat, I pld a rebuy qualifier in order to win the seat instead of buying in for 300, which I would of done anyway even if I lost, I managed to win the seat, top 10 got seats of out 90 and I spend about 60 to win it..Fair play.
Tourney 3: The big tourney 300 pound bi 80 guaranteed, I lost around 60th place when top 27 got paid, fish maniac min raised mp3, it folded down to me on bb I had j-9 off, we were both around 40 bb deep, flop comes k-q-10, I flopped 2nd nut str8, I check, he raised, I re-raised, he sat there and paused for like 1 minute and then shoved me all in which I snapped and he showed a-j for the nut str8, so pretty much a cooler...Oh well.
Tourney 4: 55 bi freezeout, 15k guaranteed I lost 4th place out of 102 for only 300 pounds, I went in final table with a decent stack from playing great poker, guy on small blind shoves me all in for 18 bb and I have qq, I snap call and he turns over ak and wins the flip, two hands later I got qq again in middle position with around 50 bb stack, I raise 2.5x, big blind who has about 100 bb calls, flop comes 2-8-a, two spades, I cb flop hp he calls, turn comes ace, I bet hp again on turn he calls, river comes blank so flush missed, I checked planning of check calling and he bets 1/4, I call and he shows me a-3.
So I was left pretty short after that last hand, but I managed to build my stack up somewhat from basic shoving spots, so got my stack back up to around 17 bb which was about table average, guy limped middle pos and it folded down to me on the big blinds with q-8, I check back. Flop comes j-10-9, 3 spades on the flop and I don't have a spade. I check flop and he checked back to my suprize, turn comes j, i bet 3/4 of pot, he called, river comes 7 of hearts, now I am hoping he made a str8 aswell with the lower end, I was fairly sure he would of semi bluffed if he had a draw so I eliminated him off having some kind of flush draw or str8 draw, so I overbet shove river since my hand looks alot like a missed flush so I am hoping he calls with any jack, 10 or lower str8, he pushed me all in and I am foced to call since I only have like 4 blinds left and he turned over j-10 for a full house 
So overall decent weekend good to get some live experience under my belt got very unlucky in two tourneys prob would of went far but w/e very satisfied with the way I played and with my adjustments.
I might go next month as well so we shall see what happens .Overall ended the weekend +700 pounds.
ya live poker is deff awesome, I enjoy it alot more and players are alot worse, the only downside I can think of is that its more tiring cause u gotta keep calculating people different stack size changes for 10 hours in a row ^^ when online it just shows the number ♦

So i've not pld too much this month because I've been sick most of it. I've pld abit of the 100's and its going pretty well, but i;ve decided to stop playing hu sngs and since my roll is good sized now I can play nl100+ cash and I think nl100+ for cash game is better than hu sngs.
From now on I will be playing NL HU 100 and PLO HU 100, so gotta put in a lot of effort to learn plo. I will also be playing rush 100 while I wait for hu action, so got a few big changes to make Hopefully it all goes well.

Last couple of days I decided to focus purely on PLO to check it out and also improve so I can find more action in hu, been playing plo 100, playing mostly v regs 2 improve and I have 2 say even though I am pretty new to it I feel like I have a good edge, so should have a lot of potential combining plo hu and nl hu together.

As can be seen from the graph not been running 2 great but it doesnt bother me, I am just glad 2 be able 2 own regs at a game that I am new to, I am looking to play 30k hands and see from there, if I keep on crushing I will keep moving up the limits every 30k hands I play.
So if i am winning after 30k hands I will play plo200 and same again untill I reach the sky.

So as you guys know I shipped 2 mtts for 80k a couple of months ago, all I can say is i've not pld a lot of poker since then got somewhat lazy and was pretty much having a good time/spending lots of money!
So I am starting uni on first of Sep, gna get my own flat and fully supporting myself from poker....So from now on I have to keep putting in volume and give things 100 percent or no food for me.
I've been doing pretty well hu and I am currently playing 100-200-400 nl hu. I am hoping to make another 50k by the end of this year from hu, but who knows anything is possible.
I've also been learning to trade the foreign exchange market so hopefully in a few months I will be able to make some $ from that also.

Ah, another thing I forgot to add was that I got scammed for 200 dollars by a guy called MrPavlos on pokerstrategy and his PokerStars name is MrGeros.
I knew him from when I first started playing hu sngs last Aug, we were both playing the 7's if I remember correctly, I lost contact with him and haven't spoken to him for 8 months when out of the blue he msged me on skype asking how I was, and he started begging me to stake him 200 dollar for hu sngs saying he is still playing the same limits and needs help. I figured he seemed like a nice guy, the money means nothing to me so I might as well try help out an old friend. So anyway he starts of playing and he wasn't doing too well, so I decided to check his game out, and I noticed some huge leaks very quickly, so I gave him around an hour or two of free coaching just to help him out, bare in mind the deal was that once he made 2k we split half of profits. Basically after the 2 hours of coaching I seem to have turned him from a fish into a slightly winning player. Then out of the blue after he was up 2-300, he tells me that he found a job as a barman and won't have time to play, he deleted me from skype and I can see him playing every day on sharkscooe lol....
Like I said b4 it's not the money, it's the principal how I try help some1 out and they screw you over....That just goes to show you how things work online. I don't think I will be staking anyone for a long time.
