Living on Corsica [English Thread]

Hi Guys,

sorry for writing in English, but my French would be to bad to explain everything. I want to move to France (as long as pokerstars.fr doesnt get the contributed rake, but it doesnt seem so), and i think it would be nice to live on Corsica.

So does anyone here life on Corsica and can me tell something about. I´ve chosen Corsica, because its a mild climate and i love driving through the mountains with a convertible, still there is the sea and yeah, it just looks pretty good.

But i just wanted to know, if theres anything going in the two big cities, i mean they only have 70k inhabitants each and i dont want to spend every night at home

I was on Corsica once, but only for a short time, so i dont know much about Corsica.

HI. Sorry I don't know that much about Corsica, my borther used to live there but it was in a very small village. However, from what I heard, it's a bit dead outside the touristic season.

It's beautiful though, and there is surely some things happening in the main cities during the year, but if you like to party a lot, maybe it isn't quiet the best choice.

but there are plenty of other alternatives in France though if you want more action. What about Toulouse ? It's also not far from the sea, from the moutains, from Spain and it's quiet a big city. Also it's a area where you'll meet plenty of english fellows (if you're english).

Just my two cents, but maybe a real Corsica Pokerstrategists can tell us if it's not true.

Especially if you want to live, because in Corsica there is not many tournaments,
otherwise the quality of life is well cool here!

i'm very happy to live here especially in summer but even in winter it's ok if you live in bastia or ajaccio
