MicroMillions is back

We recap the stories happening outside of the WSOP including Trickett and Pleno1 spotted at the World Cup and Joe Ingram's new calling in life.

Low stakes players who are envious railing the WSOP have plenty to be excited about between July 16-29 as MicroMillions returns for the 14th time at PokerStars. 

121 events with buy-ins starting from $0.11 (but big guarantees) are scheduled, including a $1 million guaranteed Main Event for just a $22 buy-in.  

Plus anybody who plays at least five events will be entered into an All-In Shootout to win one of two $30,000 Platinum Passes.

Trickett spotted at the World Cup

Sam Trickett was a notable absentee from the WSOP this year because he was at the World Cup, but you just cannot keep him away from the spotlight.

He was captured on Sky Sports this week trying to give a free ticket away to the England game.

Also in Russia is his fellow partypoker Pro and PokerStrategist pleno1, who was also very happy with his decision to skip Vegas:

The Triton Series returns

You wont have to wait long to get your live streamed poker fix after the WSOP as the Triton High Roller series returns this month.
