That's probably the most popular reason for a call. Well, it's understandable. After all, why would you want to fold on the flop, if you hit it?
Eh, OK, call, will think later
Obviously, that's not how the best of the best do it. But that's exactly how mediocre regs think, especially while heavily multitabling.
I can’t just fold every time!
True, you can't let other players push you around. But you also can't call without a legitimate reason for it. And your personal scores with someone certainly aren't one of them. But poker sometimes is a game of egos, and that's why in players' minds there will always be a place for a reason like that.
Fold? But I haven't seen the last two cards!

Mathematically correct calls
With the pot odds given, I have to call with X% of hands, and this hand is definitely within it. I can't put this hand in my raising range as it would make this range too strong/weak/wide, etc. My opponent also doesn't have any major leaks in his betting strategy, so there is no need for me to adjust my calling range, and I should stick with the optimal one.
Hard to argue with that one, agree? Probably the only real reason for a call.
