News: GSOP Online 7 Coming This Month

The 7th annual GSOP is set to begin on September 25th. $3.1 million in prizes are guaranteed over 19 tournaments, and satellites are running already. Find out more about this prestigious online series.

The Grand Series Of Poker is the largest annual tournament series on the Ongame Network. The 7th series will take place on September 25th. It is a series of 18 'Main Events' + 1 Grand Slam Final, and in total $3.1 million in prizes are guaranteed.

The GSOP Mini is a set of identical events in all respects but their buy-ins, which are more affordable for most players. In total, $600,000 in prizes are guaranteed for the GSOP Mini.

The top 100 players on the leaderboard for each series over the first 18 events will play a tournament which will award 4 seats to each respective Grand Slam Final.

How to Qualify

Playing GSOP events by directly buying in might be out of your bankroll, but each of our Ongame sites (see the 3 listed above) are running frequent qualifiers for each event. If you win a seat, you can play for huge prizes without having to break the bank to enter.

Here is the basic qualifier path to win entry to any of the GSOP Main Events or the Grand Slam Final:

If you play in lots of GSOP events, you may be able to win your $5,000 Grand Slam Final Ticket for free.

All players who make the money in any GSOP events will collect Leaderboard points. The players who have earned the greatest number of Leaderboard points at the end of the series (but before the Grand Slam Final) will receive either a ticket or entry into a freeroll to play for one, as follows:

1st Place: $5,000 Grand Slam Final Ticket
2nd - 10th: Play for 1 Grand Slam Final Ticket
11th - 30th: Play for 1 Grand Slam Final Ticket
31st - 100th: Play for 1 Grand Slam Final Ticket

All three freerolls will take place on October 15th at 20:00 GMT+2.
