After the Preheat Festival, the excitement continues with the launch of the Summer Festival. From July 28 to August 18, compete for your share of $7 million in guaranteed prizes. More details will be available soon, so stay tuned!
But back to the WPT Global Preheat Festival: The series kicks off with the $300,000 Guaranteed, $220 Championship. The first starting flight begins on the opening day, with over a dozen flights available before the Day 2 Final on the festival’s closing day.
Additionally, WPT Global introduces the $22 Mini Championship, offering an $80,000 Guarantee. This event also provides more than a dozen starting flights. Both the Championship and Mini Championship are Best Stack Forward events, allowing players to join multiple starting flights, with only their highest chip stack progressing to Day 2.
Player Of The Year Leaderboard
Each event in the Preheat Festival contributes points towards the $250,000 GTD Player of the Year Leaderboard. By buying into 20 or more festival events, players can earn a ticket to the $30,000 GTD Preheat Festival Freeroll. This freeroll offers a chance to win a seat in the $500,000 GTD Summer Festival Championship.
Finish as the overall leader in the $250,000 GTD Player of the Year race and win an incredible prize package: four $12,400 WPT Passports for live events of your choice, $25,000 in tournament dollars for WPT Global online tournaments, and $25,400 in cash. Each WPT Passport covers live tournament entries and includes cash for travel expenses.
With a total of $250,000 up for grabs, players can earn points in all four Major Festivals—Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall—plus the four mid-season festivals in 2024. Points can also be earned in every Sunday Slam Tournament (Sunday Slam, Grand Slam, Mini Slam) throughout the year.
The top 100 players on the final leaderboard on November 24 will receive prizes, including WPT Global tournament dollars, WPT Passports, and entries to the 2024 WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas.
