PokerStars add $5 Spin & Go with $2 million jackpot
The biggest ever jackpot for a Spin & Go under $10 has just hit the PokerStars client for a limited time only.
There are currently 19 different buy-in level Spin & Go stakes on offer at PokerStars, six of which come with a seven-figure maximum jackpot. Last month they announced a $3 million Spin & Go for a $40 buy-in and now they have just launched a $5 Spin & Go with a $2 million maximum jackpot (the biggest ever jackpot at that price point).
The odds of getting that ridiculous jackpot are a mere 1 in 20,000,000, but as we have written before, the best reason to play in the mega jackpot games is not for the jackpot, but for the players who are attracted to the jackpot.
It is remarkable to see 19 different Spin & Go stakes in the PokerStars lobby, especially with the added visibility that the PokerStars partnership with the UFC is bringing to these games (as well as number of seven-figure jackpots). In fact one might argue that the abundance of jackpots on offer right now are part of the strategy to attract UFC fans to poker.
It does appear, however, that these new $5 games are a limited time only promotion (probably to coincide with the 200 billion hand celebrations) so no word on how much time you have to play in these games.
