Coral's move to partypoker delayed
We recap some stories you may have missed including the 2020 WSOP dates and a battle of the All Time Money leaders in Prague.
Coral move delayed
Last week we brought you the news that Coral Poker was moving to the partypoker network at very short notice (and Ladbrokes will be following them in the new year). If you are a Coral Poker grinder you may have noticed that has not happened.
Parent company GVC confirmed to PokerIndustry Pro that the move has now been delayed until the new year.
The proposed Ladbrokes move is still expected to take place in the first quarter of 2020, following the successful migration by Coral Poler.
WSOP dates announced
You don't have to start a staking thread just yet but you might want to put these days in your diary, as the World Series of Poker dates have been announced.
The 51st WSOP takes place between May 26 and July 15 next year, with the Main Event starting on July 1.
The Big 50 event with a $500 buy-in has been confirmed for May 28 and the Seniors Championship starts on June 18.
Battle of the All-Time Money leaders
Over to EPT Prague and you expect to see huge names at the final table of the €50,000 Super High Roller event, but this one was quite special.
That's because the final four were all the All-Time Money leader in their respective country. In 4th place Steve O'Dwyer of Ireland won €245,460, in 3rd place Adrian Mateos of Spain won €320,170 and in 2nd place ElkY of France won €501,590.
The eventual champion was Stephen Chidwick of the UK who took it down for €725,710.
Hellmuth vs Trickett for $350k
