Daniel Lowry withs 17th WSOP-C ring
After Hawkins wins his 18th and Engel wins his 19th, Daniel Lowry keeps the circuit ring race interesting with a 17th win.
We mentioned it was the most exciting race, and the WSOP-C ring leaderboard just got even more interesting.
This month alone Maurice Hawkins tied for the lead with 18 then Ari Engel retook the lead with 19.
Now, just a few days later, Daniel Lowry captured his 17th, hot on the heels of Hawkins and Engel.
He won the $250 Seniors event at WSOP-C Hard Rock Tulsa for $17,187, overcoming a field of 448 players.
Speaking of his race with Hawkins and Engel, he said:
It’s definitely something on the to-do list. When it was down to 13 or 14 rings Ari and I kind of challenged each other and it’s been fun since then. This past week’s been great because Maurice got the one in Florida and then he miraculously wins that main in Baltimore. He just crushes, so he raised the bar a little bit. And then Josh Reichard comes in and wins #16 and he’s also at the final table with the chip lead in Hammond right now. Ari won another to put him ahead with 19. So the race is on. It’s such a great week for the WSOP Circuit and I’m happy to be a part of it.
