Time to Czech out the action
While Vegas is the place to be for any poker player during the summer months, Prague is shaping up to be the destination of choice in the first weeks of December.
With a WPT, EPT and GSOP all running within days of each other this month, Prague is overflowing with poker players from all over the world.
Today sees the conclusion of a record-breaking WPT Prague as the final table of six will yield one champion.
Meanwhile EPT Prague has just kicked off, and with the likes of Martin Staszko, Pius Heinz, ElkY and last year's champ Roberto Romanello all in their seats it promises to be a great tournament.

Live poker in your underpants

Fabstinho on top in GUKPT Final
Yesterday saw another PokerStrategist bag a major title as Fabian 'fabstinho' Quoss became the latest player to clench victory on the GUKPT tour. He took first place and £119,996 for winning the GUKPT Grand Final at the Victoria Casino in London.
It was an accomplished final table featuring the likes of Jake Cody, James Mitchell and John Gale but it was the German PokerStrategy.com member residing in London who took the spoils.

High stakes corner
The past 24 hours have seen some fairly explosive action over at PokerStars with several $100/$200 and $200/$400 PLO games running.
The big winners from the games have been "mTw-DaviN" (+$166,542) and Ilari "Ilari FIN" Sahamies (+$139,060) according to HSDB.
Patrik Antonius is thought to be the face behind the "Fake Love888" account: if this is true it wasn't a good night for the Finnish superstar, as he props up the 24 hour results chart with a loss of $153,650.
Texas Dolly in the Lolly
Doyle "Texas Dolly" Brunson is one man who has played more live tournaments than most.
The septuagenarian high stakes pro is taking a break from tournament poker this week however, choosing to focus on a fairly juicy cash game over in Florida.
The nosebleed games in Macau have been getting all the attention lately, but it seems that Doyle has found a nice little game of his own, tweeting that "the poker game I played in this weekend had 100K chips. Don't see that very often and they were going in many pots."
