PokerStars EPT Prague Begins Today - Heinz, ElkY confirmed [Live Ticker]
As we wrap up the WPT, the Prague Poker Festival continues with the PokerStars EPT Prague €5,300 Main Event beginning. A host of PokerStars Pros are attending the event - are you?
With the Prague Poker Festival underway, the next stop once we crown the inaugural WPT Prague champion is the PokerStars EPT. The event will take place from December 5 - 10 at the Hilton Prague Hotel and carries a €5,000 + €300 buy-in.

Last year, Roberto Romanello beat a field of 563 players to win €640,000 and his first EPT title. The EPT Prague has been remarkably consistent since its first run in 2007; the first event saw 555 entrants with a peak field of 586 in 2009.
The first ever EPT Prague champion was Team PokerStars pro Arnaud Mattern, who won €708,400 for his victory. He has confirmed his presence in Prague for 2011 and will be attempting to become the first double EPT winner this week.
Who will be playing?
So far a number of Team PokerStars pros have confirmed that they will be playing in the event including 2011 WSOP Main Event champion Pius Heinz. Joining Heinz will be 2010 WSOP champion Jonathan Duhamel, inaugural EPT Prague champion Arnaud Mattern, UK beauty Liv Boeree.
Also in attendance will be wannabe kickboxers Lex "RaSZi" Veldhuis and Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier as well as the Czech Republic's own PokerStars representatives - Martin Hruby and WSOP runner-up Martin Staszko, the newest addition to the PokerStars stable.
