PokerStrategy.com Coach Scott Clements Builds a Stack at WPT Five Diamond Day 2
Scott Clements is looking for his second WPT title after chipping up to third place of 149 survivors at the Bellagio. Chasing Clements are big names including Matt Glantz, Erik Seidel and Allen Cunningham.

With registration open until 5pm on Day 2, the field size increased again from the Day 1 turnout with a total of 413 players signing up. After Day 2 just 149 of them are left in contention with 
ScottClements third in the chip counts.
Scott, who recently released his début tournament Omaha video for PokerStrategy.com, proved that he can still play Hold'em tournaments as well. James "Flushy" Dempsey and Matt Glantz join him in the top 10 chip counts.
Our newest coach fought off tough competition throughout the day and the likes of Allen Cunningham, Will Reynolds, Tony Duns, Day 1 chip leader Vanessa Selbst and defending champion Antonio Esfandiari are chasing him.
Other big names to survive the day included Erik Seidel and Daniel Negreanu, despite them sitting at the same table for a large portion of the day.

With Day 2 done and dusted the field is 413 players which means a prize pool of more than $4 million. Last year when Antonio Esfandiari bested a field of 438 he took home a first prize of more than $870,000.
