It's always sad when a former poker pro is forced to sell up and restart their bankroll, but when that person is Howard Lederer then maybe it's not so sad.
The now reviled poker site owner and rock steady grinder is currently selling his Las Vegas home on Redfin.com.
The Hawk Ridge Drive property originally cost $15 million and has eight bedrooms, but following a downturn in the market (and Howard's fortunes) it's now being for $8,999,000.
Lederer reportedly settled with the DOJ after the Black Friday indictments, so it seems he'll bank at least some of the money he generates from the sale of the house.
Who knows, we may see him put some of the proceeds towards a run at this year's WSOP.

The WPT and the DeepStacks Poker Tour (DSPT) have joined forces in a move that will see more mid-stakes tournaments take place across North America and Europe.
Following on from the DSPT's recent announcement that it will be heading to the UK in October, the organisation will now brand itself as the WPTDeepStacks Tour and offer more events with even bigger prizepools.
By merging WPT Regional events with the DSPT Chris Torina, the President of the DSPT, believes it will put the "mid-major industry on a whole different level".
All the remaining DSPT events of 2014 will now fall under the WPTDeepStacks banner before the tour adds as many as 20 new events to its roster in 2015.
Devilfish getting heated
We all know that Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliot has a bad temper and that side of him came to light recently following an EPT broadcast.
After seeing himself on British TV, Ulliot took offence to Joe Stapleton's joke that his mobile phone number is "7" because he's so old.
Taking his frustration to Twitter, Ulliot retorted: "he's about as funny as a stone in your shoe. 7 is probably his IQ."
The rant continued for several more tweets before Ulliot threatened to set his "head on fire" if he says "burn" one more time.
Fortunately Stapleton was able to see the funny side of things and offered an apology by tweeting:
"Dave, you know me. We've hung out. I thought you could get as well as you give. If I hurt your feelings, I apologize. Burn?"

'punting-peddler' climbed to the top of the high stakes leaderboard last night after banking $164,731 over the course of just 147 hands. In a similar vein, 'Trueteller' and Paul 'MalACEsia' Phua also played just a few hands but managed to rake in six-figure profits.
At the other end of the spectrum, 'Sanlker' became the only six-figure loser on Wednesday after dropping $101,289. That deficit was enough to finish clear of rhje and Patrik Antonius who each suffered minor dips in fortune.

He might not be the youngest player at the poker table anymore, but Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliot certainly hasn't lost his playful side at the felt.
