Canseco: "Finger loss was a hoax"
We round-up some of the stories you may have missed this week, including an incredible comeback from Kevin Boudreau.
No way Jose!
Earlier this week we brought you the news that former Major League Baseball star Jose Canseco had lost one of his fingers during a poker tournament, but he has now revealed it was nothing more than an elaborate prank.
It is actually true that Canseco somehow managed to blow his finger off while cleaning a gun, but the reattachment surgery actually went well, and Jose eventually confessed that he "cooked up the plan" when he came across a fake finger in a Halloween store.
Brilliant Boudreau
Just over a year on from suffering a traumatic brain injury that threatened his life, Kevin 'phwap' Boudreau has made an inspirational comeback to poker, finishing fourth in the very first live tournament he's played since that fateful day during the 2013 WSOP.
It could have been even better for Boudreau however, as he actually held the chip lead during four-handed play at the Mid-Stakes Poker Tour Colorado event, but suffered a bad beat at the hands of eventual winner Reza Yazdi when his pocket nines were cracked by two eights.

Hellmuth runnin' hot
He may have taken a lot of heat recently off the back of Dan Colman's online tirade, but there's good reason Phil Hellmuth has a record 13 WSOP bracelets - the man knows how to win at tournament Hold'em.
Hellmuth, head very much in the game, proved that fact again earlier this week by battling through a tough field of 254 players to win the Pittsburgh Poker main event for $54,000.
