Full Tilt's claims administrator appointed

US players with bankrolls left in limbo after Black Friday received a boost yesterday following the appointment of a claims administrator.
After much deliberation, the US Attorney's Office Southern District of New York finally selected the Garden City Group (GCG) to oversee the remission process.
According to Preet Bharara, GCG has a well established "track record" in handling "complicated settlements".
While further details of the repayment process are yet to be finalised, a dedicated website has been created to streamline the process.
All US players with outstanding bankrolls are being encouraged to visit FullTiltPokerClaims.com and join the mailing list to keep up-to-date with the latest developments.

PokerStars' fourth Micro Millions returned earlier today with a fresh schedule of low stake events and $5 million in guaranteed prize money.
In amongst the small stakes schedule are a number of familiar offerings, including the $1 million guaranteed $22 Main Event.
However, it's the addition of two Zoom events that will pique the interest of many grinders.
The first of the two turbo tournaments takes place today at 20:30 UTC and will hand out at least $75,000.
The second offering kicks off on March 17 and carries a $3.30 entry fee, plus a $50,000 guarantee.

Genting joins the ISPT bandwagon

The ISPT's chances of success received another boost, yesterday, after Dusk Till Dawn's Rob Yong announced that Genting UK will be running nationwide satellites.
Utilising their chain of casinos across the UK, Genting will now offer official Day 2 qualifiers for the Wembley based event.
Yong's forum post also explained that a shuttle service will be available from Wembley Stadium to Genting casinos across London.
The complimentary transport will allow players to join the selection of specially organised cash games taking place at properties such as the Palm Beach casino.

While yesterday was a day of positives for "SallyWoo", it was one of negatives for Viktor "Isildur1" Blom.
Having exited EPT London's Main Event earlier in the day, the Swede endured an equally tough time at the virtual felt a few hours later.
Over the course of 893 hands he saw $345,883 disappear from his bankroll, putting him top of the daily loss chart ahead of Ben "Sauce123" Sulsky (-$141,828) and "N Channing" (-$67,641).
For “SallyWoo”, however, yesterday was certainly a day they'd be happy to repeat.
After grinding through 450 hands, the online pro banked $253,574 to overtake 'jenskyllonen' ($109,346) and "Molodoy1977" ($94,135) on the daily profit chart.
