Guy's One Drop hopes

The WSOP's second One Drop event kicks off tomorrow and when the registration desk closes the organisers are expecting a prizepool of $10 million.
The $111,111 High Roller event is one of 2013's marquee tournaments and 3% of the prizepool will be used to fund fresh water projects across the world.
A number of pros are expected to take part in Guy Laliberte's charity event, including Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Laak and Jeff Gross who have all witnessed the work of One Drop firsthand.
Following tomorrow's High Roller, the Little One for One Drop will get underway on July 3 and 4 with a $1,111 buy-in.
Like its bigger brother, a portion of the prizepool will go to charity, along with any donations the players wish to make by going "all-in for One Drop".
Overall the WSOP and One Drop are hoping to raise $1,111,111 by the end of this year's festival.
Benevolence for Boudreau

Following Kevin "phwap" Boudreau's unexpected brain haemorrhage, an online fundraiser has been set up by members of the poker community.
Following the news the likes of Tom "durrrr" Dwan were quick to tweet their support and since then a number of players have helped raise money to help with Kevin's recovery.
With a target of $50,000, the fundraiser has been designed to cover transportation and other costs which are expected to total more than $40,000.
At present the fund has topped $15,000 thanks to donations from the likes of Two Plus Two, Peter Jetten and David Benefield.

Russian grinders were in fine form last night and by the time Event #43 had come to a conclusion they'd completed a clean sweep of the medals.
Indeed, as the crowds dispersed and the top prize drew closer, three Russian players slowly emerged as dominant forces.
After ousting the final foreigner, the Ukraine's
"JamessonPS" in fourth place, Russia's ilushka007 eventually swapped his stack for a bronze medal and $110.
That left ram7436 and "SpecStone" vying for the title and after a back-and-forth battle it was the latter who clinched gold and $193.
With tomorrow's $5,000 guaranteed event set to be a hotly contested affair, the question on everyone's lips is whether anyone can stop Russia from winning another gold medal.

A flurry of high stakes No Limit Hold'em activity in the last 24 hours allowed "HelicopterBen82" to top the daily leaderboard with a $759,811 profit.
The impressive haul was enough to put the online grinder ahead of some more familiar names on the nosebleed scene, including: Viktor "Isildur1" Blom ($411,522), "Rhje" ($296,415) and "Trueteller" ($242,510).
Rising to the top of yesterday's loss chart after dropping $661,179 was "Call_911".
That deficit was enough to put him ahead of the day's other top losers "IReadYrSoul" (-$-631,335) and Hac "trex313" Dang (-$520,639).
