Partouche Poker Tour Resumes
The popular Partouche Poker Tour final table commences today with tournament titan Sam Trickett leading the way.
Last year it was Vanessa Selbst who took the plaudits in the main event in Cannes, but the talented American won’t be on hand to defend her title this time around.
British player Trickett starts today’s final table with the largest chip stack in the room and is the man to beat for the €1,000,000 first place prize. Having already won almost $3 million this year, Trickett is in fine form but he won’t have things all his own way as he faces stiff competition from the likes of Alexandre Coussy, Salman Behbehani and Mads Wissing.

More Time at Ongame
They say time waits for no man and while it certainly won’t hang around forever, you can now grab a few more precious seconds at the Ongame tables.
In the past players at sites like Bwin Poker were forced to make tough decisions in a limited amount of time, however, that’s all changed with the introduction of a new time bank feature.
The extended clock allows players an extra 30 seconds of time within the first 50 hands of a cash game session. This is then extended by a further 10 seconds for every subsequent 50 hands that are played at the table.
This doesn’t mean you can build up an eternity of time, however. The maximum amount of extra thinking time you can bank is 30 seconds, so you’re still going to need think quickly at the virtual felt.
While 30 seconds is the maximum at normal speed cash tables, the network’s speed tables allow an additional 10 seconds of time with 1 second added for every 10 hands played.
Tournament players will also be able to take advantage of the new time bank feature with the amount of time being set according to various conditions.

PKR Sign a New Pro
PKR are renowned in the poker community for their 3D software and stable of talented young players, and that reputation is about to be enhanced by the addition of a new pro to their ranks.
Joining the likes of James “James666” Sudworth, Sofia “Wellbet” Lovgren and Vladimir “Beyne” Geshkenbein, the pro, who is yet to be announced, will become one of the poster players for the site and represent them in tournaments across Europe and North America.
PKR are remaining tight lipped over the identity of the player though, only stating that they are: “One of the year’s most high profile signings” and that “the new arrival is among the best poker players in the world.”
The exact name of the player will be unveiled on November 17th so until then the poker community will just have to keep guessing.
High Stakes Corner
While Paul “takechip” D’Auteil and “!P0krparty¡” have been tearing up the virtual felt recently it’s been “koncert888” and “thecortster” who have topped the profit leaderboard in the last 24 hours.
Running away with the most money was “koncert888” who banked $120,895, while “thecortster” netted $68,948, closely followed by “St1ckman” who won $53,293.
