FTP: slaktarn Wins The PLO Championship
The online pro slaktarn won the $25,000 Heads-Up Pot-Limit Omaha Championship on Full Tilt Poker last weekend. In the finale he defeated Patrik Antonius.
64 players had signed up for the exquisite High-Roller event on Full Tilt Poker.
Erich Kollmann Eighth
Amongst them was also the Austrian Omaha specialist Niki Jedlicka. He already had to join the rails in the first round when he was defeated by 'Urindanger'. His fellow countryman Erich Kollmann was more successful. In Round 1, he took 'F8lexcduck' out of the tournament and then also eliminated Scott Fischman as well as '12443267'. Only in the quarter-finals he had to submit to 'Ugadabugada'. For his 8th place, he received $96,000.

On his way to the win, 'slaktarn' eliminated 'OneUponAStar', 'SteveSung’' and 'Ugadabugada' amongst other players. Patrik Antonius dealt with Brian Hastings, 'trex313' and his brother 'Urindanger' amongst others.
While Antonius belongs to the established poker pros, the poker world is still wondering about slaktarn's identity.
It is only known that he is a Swede. His nick translated into English means 'Slaughterer'. However, slaktarn's PLO skills are undisputed: He battles it out with the poker pros on the highest limits regularly, and does extremely well. highstakesdb lists him with a plus of $1,923,398 since the beginning of the year.

The finale between 'slaktarn' and Antonius took about an hour. In the decisive hand, 'slaktarn' already had a chip lead of almost 4:1 at his disposal. On the board of
