Is a faster Spin & Go format coming?

A software update has suggested that a quicker version of the Lottery SNG might be the next new format from PokerStars.

Once again the folks at pokerfuse have been sleuthing around the latest update from PokerStars and discovered a potential new game in the making.

This time it looks like a new Spin & Go offering is coming to the client called Spin & Go Flash

No further information on what could set it apart from the regular version of Spin & Go but the name suggests it will be a faster version. Spin & Go is already a very fast format, usually lasting less than 10 minutes per game and starting with 25 big blinds. This new format could have shallower stacks or a faster clock, it may also go down the Spin & Go Max route of having a set number of hands to play before forcing everyone at the table all-in.

Spin & Go as a format goes from strength-to-strength at PokerStars and Lottery SNGs in general are taking over the industry. However, last month PokerStars did remove 6+ Hold'em Spin & Go tournaments. Regular Spin & Go, Spin & Go Max and PLO Spin & Go remain.

One game which has been teased in the PokerStars MTT filters for a while but as yet has not been announced is the unknown format 'Swap Hold'em'

What do you think Spin & Go Flash will be like? Let us know in the comments:
