Ivey and Isildur1 losing big in December
We have all the latest from the nosebleeds so far this month, including more success for German grinder SanIker.
Although he rallied admirably last month in what looked like the start of an epic comeback, Phil Ivey has suffered a torrid start to December, and is currently the festive period's biggest loser.
In November Ivey ground out a $600,000 profit, which was welcome relief from the seemingly constant downswing he's been riding throughout 2014, but the push to reverse his $2,500,000 annual deficit has been quashed.
During the first ten days of December, 'Polarizing' has already dropped a nauseating $625,930, reversing all his good work from the last few weeks - and worryingly it's taken him just 4,186 hands to do it.
He's not the only big name reeling this month however, as Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom has also been active, and losing.
The Swedish nosebleed king is down a whopping $201,151 from just 2,686 hands played, and his 2014 figures make for even worse reading than Ivey's - down over $3,000,000.
SanIker comeback continues
German heads-up specialist 'SanIker' - who was November's biggest winner up over $1,000,000 - has carried over that success into December, riding another heater worth $623,310 in just 4,176 hands.
Plus, his overall figures are now better than ever (at least during the three years he's been tracked) at $1,000,000 in the black.
Considering that just six months ago he was down almost $1,500,000 overall, and had to endure a seven-figure losing month in October, sitting seven-figures in the black at the end of 2014 is some achievement.

Elsewhere, the likes of Alexander Kostritsyn, Dan Cates and Ike Haxton are all enjoying small profits, and although he returned briefly last month, there's been no sign of Gus Hansen so far in December.
