Kevin “Phwap” Boudreau suffered a stroke at the table of a $3,000 WSOP event in 2013. The doctors gave him a very bleak prognosis and the poker world never thought they would see Kevin at the tables again.
Not only did Kevin beat those dire odds, but he made a return to the tables in the Main Event last year. This year a short documentary has been made about Boudreau's long journey back to recovery. 888poker financed the documentary and have confirmed they will be sponsoring Kevin in the Main Event this year.
