Lex Veldhuis returning to Twitch

Lex is back!
2020 has been a testing year for everyone, but Lex Veldhuis has had a tougher year than most, losing his father a few months ago.
The poker world has missed his streams, especially during the World Championship of Online Poker where his deep runs have been some of the most viewed poker content on Twitch over the last few years.
We won't have to wait much longer as he announced his return this Sunday with this fun video:

Are charts a crutch?
The hotly debated topic of RTAs has morphed into a discussion on whether simple preflop charts, such as push/fold charts, are too much assistance?
It came after Daniel Negreanu and Doug Polk were finalising the terms of their heads-up match when Kid Poker suggested they are a crutch when used in real time.
Almost 70% of his followers, over 8,000 polled, agreed with him too.

Both using GTO preflop charts in real time using an RNG.
You literally would have two people making zero preflop decisions and playing the identical strategy.

EPT Sochi attracts a big field
One of the few major events to take place despite the global poker lockdown appears to be thriving.
The bubble has burst at EPT Sochi and it has attracted a field of 428 plus 209 re-entries. It obviously would have attracted more players in normal years, but in 2020 that is as big as it gets.
The winner this weekend will take down a first prize of 18,844,000 RUB (approx $245,000), again likely to be one of the bigger live scores in 2020.
Greenstein interviews Ivey
Two players we don't hear from enough sat down to talk this week, Phil Ivey and Barry Greenstein. In a rare interview, Ivey talked about his mental game and how Asian poker players have more endurance than their American peers.
