Michael Addamo wins the $50,000 High Roller

Four nosebleed MTT wins this year and three bracelets overall for the dominant Australian high roller.

Every year there seems to be one player who crushes the Super High Roller scene and this year that player is Michael Addamo. 

The Australian has just won his third career bracelet by taking down the $50,000 High Roller event at the WSOP for $1,132,968. He did so by beating fellow nosebleed dominator Justin Bonomo heads-up in a stellar field of 81 players.

This tops an amazing few months for Addamo where he won both the Poker Masters Purple Jacket and the Super High Roller bowl, taking down three nosebleed MTTs consecutively. 

Like most High Rollers, he is more aware of the luck element than a lot of players, he said after the win:

Obviously there's some skill involved, but winning this much is really attributed to luck in the end, so it's very fortunate. I play a strategy where I put a lot of big bets in. That's no secret. Sometimes you're going to be out in the first level and sometimes you're gonna build up a big stack.

Addamo now has $15,544,225 on the All Time Money list and continues his lead on the Australian All Time List, He tops the overall 2021 Money List with $6,108,000.
