Records broken in the Triton Poker Series
We have seen the two biggest fields on the tour, back-to-back, with over a week to go in Vietnam.
Poker is booming at every stake level right now, with record fields in the Triton Poker Series in Vietnam.
The biggest field ever assembled on the tour, the $25,000 GG Super Millions, attracted 166 entries in total. That may not sound much but these are some of the toughest fields in the world.
It was won by Webster Lim for $965,000 and after the win, he dedicated the title to his late friend Ivan Leow, who died last year during the Triton event in Cyprus.

Just one day later that record was broken again, as the $15,000 No Limit event attracted 172 entries in total. That was won by Nacho Barbero for $600,000.

Could we see another record broken? The stakes are getting higher and the Short Deck events haven't started, both of which would normally reduce the field sizes. That said, another week of action is left to play and there is a buzz around these festivals. Seeing an even bigger field in Vietnam would not be a shock.
