Richard "nutsinho" Lyndaker passes away
One of the icons of online poker and high stakes cash games has passed away at just 33.
More sad news for the poker community today as top online cash game specialist Richard "nutsinho" Lyndaker has died from an accidental overdose of painkillers.
A close friend of Lyndaker's reported the news on 2+2, explaining he was taking the prescribed medication following a a recent soccer injury.
"nutsinho" is one of the iconic screen names for railbirds of nosebleed cash games, crushing the biggest games on PokerStars and taking on all comers. He also boasted almost $1.9 million in live tournament cashes, including a 2nd place finish in a WSOP event in 2008.
He had a reputation as a fearless legend at the felt and a generous person away from it, the poker community came out in force yesterday to pay tribute to him:
