This is how to react to winning a $500,000 bounty

One player won more than the 1st place prize in the WSOP Paradise Mystery Millions last night and he was pretty happy about it.

The Mystery Bounty format is a brilliant marketing machine for poker, but sadly sometimes poker players are not the most excitable bunch when they win the big tickets. 

That was not the case for Jeremy Lavi Dan in the $1,650 Mystery Millions event at WSOP Paradise. Here he is pulling the $500,000 bounty and acting like most of us assume we would act in the same position:

The only people potentially happier than Jeremy right now are the World Series of Poker organisers themselves, as this event narrowly missed an overlay. With two hours left before late registration closed they were looking at a $450,000 overlay but they managed to surpass the $5 million guarantee. In the end they attracted a field of 3,446 and a prize pool of $5,169,000. 

$420,000 goes to the winner which means our Mystery Bounty winner is already the biggest winner of the tournament. Maria Ho and Phil Hellmuth are still in that event and playing down to a winner tonight live on Twitch.
