Timex wins EPT Malta High Roller
The WSOPE has only just concluded and now EPT Malta is firmly underway, with another big high roller result for Mike McDonald.
It is a testament to the strength of the High Roller scene that just after 64 players enter a €25k High Roller in Berlin, the same level buy-in event at EPT Malta attracts 52 entries including 11 re-entries.
The winner is no stranger to big buy-in events. Despite being just 26-years-old, Mike 'Timex' McDonald is a veteran on the High Roller circuit and has pulled off another victory, bagging €498,575.
He defeated a tough final table that included Sylvain Loosli, Byron Kaverman, Sam Greenwood and Juha Helppi heads-up to take down his first EPT High Roller (To go alongside his EPT Dortmund Main Event title).
This win takes him up to 15th on the All-Time Money Rankings, overtaking Jamie Gold, with $12,478,018 in career winnings.
