Triton announce their first mid stakes series
The term 'mid stakes' is relative, of course, but is Triton ONE a potential rival to the EPT/WSOP and WPT?

Earlier this year a mid stakes Triton tour was teased, offering the luxury experience we see for the High Rollers at a more affordable price tag.
We pondered at the time what Triton regulars consider to be mid stakes, and now we have an answer. Entry fees of $2,000 to $20,000.
The first ever Triton ONE festival takes place at Landing Casino in Jeju between September 2-8. It features 17 events, including an $8,000 Main Event.
The doors are opening to an arena built for rising legends.

A WPT Global Slam event is part of the schedule, which suggests that WPT Global will be the place to go for online qualifiers.
No doubt it will feature the same industry-leading live broadcasts that the high roller tour boasts. Looking at the schedule, it looks very much like a rival to the EPT/WPT/WSOP:
