WCOOP Main Event: PokerStrategist Holds the 2nd Largest Stack

Yesterday, a total of 2,443 players entered Day 1 of the $5,000 + $200 buy-in Main Event of the 2010 World Championship of Online Poker on PokerStars.
It is the final, 62nd event of the tournament series, featuring a prize pool of $12,215,000. Whoever claims the first place will take home a whopping $2,278,097.50 in prize money.
PokerStrategist closest to the chip leader
With Day 1 already wrapped up, there is now a total of 271 players left in the tournament. Some of the players who won't return to the tables on Day 2 include well-known pros such as Vanessa Rousso and the last year's WCOOP Main Event winner Yevgeniy Timoshenko.
Meanwhile, Chad Brown and Jason Mercier are some of the members of Team PokerStars Pro who are still in the race for the first place prize. Brown is currently in 26th place with a stack of $386,685 in chips, while Mercier is hanging on to his stack of 163,465 in chips.
Current chip leader is bedoyiya with a stack of 968,412, whereas his closest challenger is a PokerStrategist jaybeastie who holds a stack of 825,618 in chips.
