WSOP Week 2: Hellmuth Falls Short and Darren Woods Wins Event 19
The second week of the 2011 World Series of Poker is now complete. 10 bracelets have been won by both new and familiar faces, including John Juanda and PokerStrategy.com Diamond video producer Darren 'DooshCom' Woods.

The most stacked final table of the week came in Event #16, the 2-7 Draw Lowball Championship. Final tables are played 7-handed at 2-7, and each of the players at the table was a well known pro with at least 1 WSOP bracelet to his name.
Going into the final table, Phil Hellmuth had the chip lead. He was followed by Richard Ashby, John Juanda, Steve Sung, Nick Schulman, David 'Bakes' Baker, and Hasan Habib.
Hasan Habib exited first, and he was soon followed by the winner of last year's 2-7 Championship, David Baker.
At a table full of A-list players, the 2 most recognisable ones soon found themselves playing heads-up for a WSOP bracelet - Phil Hellmuth and John Juanda.
Hellmuth started out with the chip lead, but Juanda tactfully grinded away and chipped at the 11-time bracelet winner.
Daniel Negreanu gave some insight about Juanda's heads-up prowess on Twitter:
@RealKidPoker - "Fun Juanda story: he actually built a large portion of his early bankroll playing people at HU 2-7 at the Commerce Casino. No one ever beat him."
Juanda, who took 4th place in this event both last year AND the year before, outplayed Hellmuth and in doing so won his 5th WSOP bracelet along with $367,170.

By the third and final day of play, 12 players remained including PokerStrategy.com's own Darren 'dooshcom' Woods.
Of the final 12, Darren's most well-known opponents were former bracelet winner and limit hold'em specialist Matt Matros and Richard 'nutsinho' Lyndaker. Each of those two players busted before the final table was reached.
The final table took a while, but eventually Kim Nguyen found herself in the chip lead and playing heads-up against Woods.
If she had won, it would have made her the first female open-event winner since Vanessa Selbst in 2008. However, Darren quickly took control of the match.
To the disappointment of many women in the room but the delight of the PokerStrategy.com community, Darren 'dooshcom' Woods was the eventual champion, taking down his 1st WSOP bracelet and $213,431.
