"d.apollo777" wins two PLO WCOOP Main Events in same night
Arguably the two toughest online PLO tournaments of the year were both won by Gruffudd Jones this week, at the same time.
The WCOOP PLO Main Events don't quite get the same coverage as the No Limit variants, but this year they should.
That is because two of the three PLO Mains were won by the same player on the same night.
Gruffudd "d.apollo777" Jones took down both the Medium and the High variants of the PLO Main Event this week.

He defeated a field of 521 players in the $1,050 Medium PLO Main Event, on his third bullet, to take it down for $92,442. A smaller field but everyone was an elite player in the $10,300 High PLO Main Event. He overcame a field of 77 to take that one down for $164,627.
A slight asterisk in that event, he won the title but not the biggest prize, 'lmbajimbaa' came 2nd for $185,574, commanding a bigger prize after a heads-up deal.
Either way, it will go down as one of the great double victories in all of poker, especially when you consider how tough the fields are.
