Nick Schulman wins 8th career WSOP bracelet
A victory in the $1,500 HORSE cements Schulman's legacy as one of the great all-around players.
Legendary poker commentator Nick Schulman reminds us once again that he is the Mixed Games Beast as he takes down his eighth career World Series of Poker bracelet.
He has just taken down the $1,500 HORSE event at the World Series of Poker for $183,360, after he defeated Clayton Mozdzen of Canada heads-up.
"I dedicate a lot of my life to the game, I feel like I am just getting into my prime, I don't want to be the delusional sort of games player hanging on, but I can feel it, that I'm finally starting to kind of come into my own a little bit", he told PokerNews after the win.

Getting better all the time
It was just last year that Schulman was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame at the first time of asking. This win vindicates that decision from the panel.
Not only is he widely regarded as the best commentator in poker, he is also one of the few players who could genuinely challenge Phil Hellmuth one day in the bracelet counts. This writer has written previously that if anyone is going to topple Hellmuth they need to be young and have mixed games acumen, which Schulman certainly does.
Nick Schulman has bracelets in lowball, omaha hi/lo, seven card stud, No Limit Hold'em, and now HORSE. Essentially, meaning that he can play all the games as well as each other.
Perhaps more significantly he has won six bracelets in the last seven years, suggesting that he is improving as he gets older.
