Antonius kon vandaag geen potten breken en heeft nog 1.3 miljoen over. Randy Dorfman is de grote chipleader aan het einde van dag 4 met bijna 3.9 miljoen chips. De payouts voor de laatste 8 spelers beginnen bij 130,000 Australische dollars (bijna 95.000 Euro).

so it seems I have some free time now so I'll see if I can type this up.
Day 1 was pretty amazing for me and I just ran really well, I doubled early with 33>AQ on Q93 and just went from there to be the chip leader of day 1b. Day 2 was a pretty sick day, I went in with 155k and nothing happened for me all day until the last level when I won a bunch of pots in a row including rivering a flush and getting a guy to call a 123k river raise and finished with 385k. We went into day 3 more or less on the bubble and hand for hand slowed things down quite a bit, I don't remember too much from early in the day but there were several hands from the end. First I 4b jam OTB w/ 55 and the old nit in SB has AA and holds to make me pretty short, when we got to 24 runners my table broke and I went to the table with 300k (avg ~600k). When I got there the guy 2 to my left had 700k, a few hands in he 3b my CO open and I ship 55 and hold vs his AKo. The next lap I open AKo and he 3b, I ship it in and get there vs his QQ. Now I have 1M chips and he is busted, really sick how things like that can happen.
Day 4 we start with only 18 runners left and we are playing 3 tables up in studio 3. I get the best of the 3 tables, with Moorman, nanonoko, PA, Sorel all in the field and none on my table. Mark Vos was on my table but was 2 to my right. Third hand of the day I 3b the button with J7hh vs Vos and he flats, flop Q83hh and he check/raises and I peel, turn is a heart and he bets ~pot for half effective stacks, I ship it in and he calls with 88. I'm now playing a 2.1M chip pot and I remember it taking at least 30 seconds to deal the river (calling floor over etc). A while later Moorman got moved to our table and started owning me, I don't remember a bunch except we got 8 handed final table really quick and played 4.5 hours with no bust outs and called it a day.
Day 5 we come back and we are going to play it out, I'm feeling really good and I have the best seat on the table by far. Sam and Matt really seemed to be nitting it up/squeezing out money and stuff and Gorr was playing pretty tight. Moorman was being Moorman and obv I don't want him on my left and James and Patrik are obv both really good players. Patrik didn't seem to be in a very good mood on the day and I was super comfortable playing against him (he limped twice and I knew what he had both times), I'm not going to make any generalisations about him though, I think he might have been stuck money on the tennis but it was a really great experience playing with him. Him and Moorman ended up busting first and that is obv a great result for me, from that point I felt like James and I are somewhat similar in skill (and better than the rest of the table) but I'm on his left and I'm feeling great so I feel like I have a huge edge at the table regardless of stack because of the great structure.
From 6 handed I really feel like I ran the table, I made a backraise jam vs one of the tight players squeeze and was right, I jammed on James light correctly and I even 4b bluffed Gorr when we were 4 handed. The sickest hand was Matthew's bustout hand where he 4b to 800k and tank called off his ~2.5M with 99 vs my AKo (I had ~3.5M) and the board ran out (slowly) 8322A. A bit later (pre-deal) I get AJo in vs James' A9o for 2M and he gets there. If I win the hand I got 8-6 chip lead HU, but I have no complaints. At dinner we discuss deals for a bit and eventually decide on 1.25, 1.15 and 1M for David, me and James respectively and then 235k for first and 100k for second. I feel like David got a deal pretty close to his true equity (factoring skill not just ICM) and I gave up a bit of equity to James, obviously this is really hard to quantify though and I'm happy with reducing the variance and locking up 7 figures.
After dinner I make a pretty spazzy hero call vs David because I didn't think he would snap check flop with a flush draw and then turn with a flush (and he's not value betting anything else) and I'd seen him c/r turn with NFD before, turned out he had TPTK+NFD on the flop which explains it and gg me.
Apart from the last hand I played the best poker of my life for 5 days straight (and I ran really good, but you have to) and everyone railing agreed I was really on top of it. It's all still pretty surreal and I'm just going to relax and enjoy myself for a bit. I'm going to do some travel this year, I think I'm going to Vancouver with some mates for a month or so in March/April and then I'll do WSOP and in the second half of the year I'm keen to do some EPTs.
After writing this I realise I haven't mentioned Randy Dorfman at all, I suppose I just didn't play a bunch of hands vs him on the FT, but he was a really nice guy and great to play with. I think that's about it but I'm happy to talk about it more if anyone has questions or whatever.
