TOP250 January: A New TOP3
Half of the month is over - and after the holidays, new players have put themselves on top of the ranking!
f3rt and are certainly no newcomers in the TOP250. In the new year, however, they made it to the top of the ranking by claiming the TOP2 spots.
crank99 on rank 3 of the promotion is also exploring new areas and unforeseen heights.
But where are dunebuggy, rif and vivalt? The winners of the previous TOP250 promotions and the monthly prize money of $10,000 each cannot be found in the TOP100 so far!
However, from previous experiences of these High Rollers, we know that they are easily able to make up their points deficit.
Meanwhile, new, as well as familiar rivals have made it to the TOP10. For instance, the well-known - even though mysterious - garandou on rank 6 and on rank 5.
Nevertheless, it's not even halftime yet. If the PokerStrategists want to maintain their ground or even exceed it, they have to keep it rolling. Before the first winner of the TOP250 promotion in 2009 will be announced, however, a lot is still possible!
Regarding our English Community, here are the top 10 ranked players so far:
Two of our members have managed to make their way into the Top100: mcneil is ranked 56th overall, with a guaranteed $200 so far, having 12,471 StrategyPoints, while smidlo is on the 93rd place with his 9,962 points and $200 if he keeps it up until the end of the month. twicet (8,861 points) and phisherman(7,820 points) did well last month and they are both in Top250 at the moment, which means they can get an extra $100 at the end of January.
We regret the delay of the TOP250 promotion updates so far, caused by data which was missing from some affiliated platforms! However, we are now carrying out our regular updates, regardless of these circumstances.
In this case, the current state is from January 12th, 2009. Delayed are: PokerStars and Ladbrokespoker (both Jan. 11th), as well as PokerKings (Jan. 10th is missing).
We always try to acquire the missing data as quickly as possible, however, there are problems at times on the side of the poker platforms. Of course, we will notify you in the future about existing gaps in the ranking updates if necessary.
In this year as well, we will distribute at least $1,200,000 in bonuses within the TOP250 promotion alone. The top finisher of this month will, as usual, receive a $10,000 bonus. We wish all of our community members good luck and a successful January!
