The fifth and penultimate tournament in our season has just ended and so here now are the results and how our players are currently doing compared against the Spanish community teams.
This week it was the turn of the public $15k Guaranteed tournament on PokerStars again. A change in the Daylight Saving Hours in the U.S. caused a few problems with some players from both communities either getting caught out by or unable to make the earlier start time.

The fifth event of this season's
Battle of the Donkeys (BotD) produced yet another great performance from our community as a whole with some excellent individual performances once again.
A total of 96 players (58 Spanish & 38 English) from our communities made the starting line up on Sunday and battled against a total field of 5,886 players from around the world.
By the first break, We Minraize You were still in great position with all 5 players still battling, whilst other teams still had at least 1 in contention.
At the second break, a resurgent Team Judgernaut still retained 3 players, whilst Donkey Patrol, New Team Anyone?, Team SoyCD & Team Sweden all had 2, amirapuato was the sole surviving Minraizer and not forgetting from the community team abe1919 was having a great first start in the BotD.
The bubble burst leaving us with an incredible 10 players in the money, an excellent achievement from our starting list of 38, congratulations everyone.

In the end, the English community battle, with 3 players remaining finished within the space of a minute, with the equally short stacked top 3 all falling to opponents at roughly the same time. In the photo finish, we ended up with 221st, 22nd & 223rd positions, with soycd just pipping both gustavolsson and mortimeral for victory. Sadly, 5 Spanish community members remained to ensure a Spanish victory once again and they are to be congratulated on a great performance. We will however be looking for a massive victory ourselves next week in the championship decider.

> abe1919 for cashing in their first ever BotD event;
> amirapuato, andyb43, mortimeral & soycd for all cashing their 2nd tournament of the season;
> soycd made his 30th BotD appearance on Sunday, congrats.
