TOP 250 April: English Community Members Invade the Rankings
The second week of our TOP 250 April race is over and the results are in. While DuneBuggy leads the overall rankings, our moderator Opal99 is in 23rd place. 8 other English community members join him in the TOP250.
Looking at the rankings now, we see that dunebuggy is holding the lead overall, which means that if he keeps it up, he will be rewarded $10,000.
Especially interesting this month is that we currently have 9 (nine!) of our PokerStrategists in TOP 250, with opal99 being in 23rd place and leading the English community.
He has accumulated a whooping 29,702 StrategyPoints so far, more than twice compared to the runner-up, redskwerl, who has 14,221 points at the moment.
Coming in third place is cakara, who is only 200 points behind redskwerl, as he now has 14,046 points.
Ranks 4, 5 and 6 are tangled in a tough fight, as the difference between , thelastnail and swissace is barely a few hundred points.
With the current overall 100th place member having 15,298 points - we might even be looking at multiple English community members in the TOP100 by the end of the month. According to rumors heard around the forums thelastnail has put his focus on taking the 2nd place position behind opal99 to make it a Slovakian first and second. Should he accomplish this, and make it into the Top100 while he is at it, it would result in one best overall monthly finishes for our community up until now.

If we look at the overall standings, we have dunebuggy in the lead with 76,844 StrategyPoints.
Ranked second is caber, who accumulated 74,666 points so far in April. In third place we see f3rt, who has 66,829 points.

Due to problems on the side of the of the poker platforms there are
sometimes be delays or gaps in our TOP250 ranking updates. We always
try to acquire the missing data as quickly as possible and will also
make you aware of where the current gaps are.
The current status is from the 19.04.2009. Currently delayed are:
Bwin (Status 18.04) and Everest Poker (Status: 16.04). The points for Inter Poker are missing for the entire month.
In this year as well, we will distribute at least $1,200,000 in bonuses within the TOP250 promotion
alone. The top finisher of
this month will, as usual, receive a $10,000 bonus. We wish all of our community members good luck and a successful April!
