October Rake Races: First Updates
The rake races for October kicked off a few days ago and we now have the first set of updates from bwin, Cake Poker and Everest Poker.
The October races kicked off and we have just received the first updates from bwin, Cake Poker and Everest Poker. Unfortunately, the updates from Full Tilt Poker are not yet available. Also, the results for the September races will follow shortly.
$7,000 Rake Race on Everest Poker
The prize pool for our Everest Poker Rake Race has just been increased to $7,000 as a last-minute decision.
- Participation: Exclusively for PokerStrategists
- Registration: enter the bonus code PSRACE until October 30th under Account->Bonus (not necessary if you have done so in one of the previous months).
- Promotion Time: October 1st 00:01 GMT until October 31st 23:59 GMT

Thanks to this prize pool augmentation, we have also improved the payout structure, by increasing the prizes and adding another 15 paid places. That means that the new payout structure looks like this:

October will also bring a $10,000 rake race on bwin. However, there might be technical problems when updating the StrategyPoints from bwin which may result in the counting not being accurate.
This means that points gathered in one day may be counted as gathered on another day. This might become critical, especially at the end or the beginning of the month during the race. Nevertheless, we decided to take the risk and go ahead with this race instead of not at all.
