Grand Series of Poker 5 Soon to Start at bwin

This September, the Grand Series of Poker goes into its fifth edition at bwin. The players who make it through the 15 day poker marathon get to participate in the Grand Slam Event with a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000.

In a few weeks time, bwin is hosting the fifth edition of the Grand Series of Poker and you can participate in this 15 day poker marathon. The main events alone boast a guaranteed prize pool of $2,500,000.

As from September 19th you can qualify for the Grand Slam Event on October 10th. Use this chance to win a ticket and play for a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000 in the final event.

How do I participate?

There is more than one way to qualify for the Grand Slam. You can buy-in or qualify for one or more of the 15 main events, where each event winner receives a ticket to the Grand Slam Event. Qualify via the daily satellites. Find more satellite information in the bwin lobby.

Another way of qualifying is by gaining Leaderboard points. The top ranked player on the Leaderboard is automatically awarded a ticket to the Grand Slam Final and players ranked from 2 to 100 get another chance to play for a total of three more tickets in a Grand Slam Leaderboard qualifier.

$5,000 Grand Slam Event with $300,000 guaranteed prize pool

The 5th Grand Series of Poker ends with a $5,000 buy-in Grand Slam Final Event on October 10th, which boasts a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000.

The main events are essentially qualifiers for the final event, and run on a daily basis at 18:00 GMT from September 19th to October 3rd. The buy-ins range from $50+4 to $500+25. All these tournaments have a huge guaranteed prize pool and the winner receives a Grand Slam ticket worth $5,000.
