Qualify for PokerStars Caribbean Adventure 2011 Now

The qualifiers for PCA 2011 have started on PokerStars. Read more to find out more about this event that is set to happen in January next year in the Bahamas and how you can be a part of it.

The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is one of the most established tournaments around and attracts some of the best players in the world. It is also one of the richest tournaments, with the PCA Main Event in 2010 generating a total prize pool of  $14.8 million.

For the 8th PCA which will take place in 2011, the series has been scheduled to run from January 7 - 16. Just like in the previous years, the tournament will be held in the Atlantis Resort and Casino on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.

$100,000 Super High Roller event and more

A total of 28 different events are set to be held this time around, with buy-ins for almost every bankroll. The cheapest is the $100 buy-in, $100k Guaranteed No Limit Hold'em rebuy event, and it goes up all the way up, to $100,500 in the Super High Roller event.

The main focus of the series will however still be the $10,300 Main Event, which starts on January 8 and has two opening days. In the last PCA Main Event, Harrison Gimbel topped the 1,500 player field to take down the title and earn $2.2 million.

Qualifiers are already running on PokerStars and buy-ins start from as low as $2.22. There are also qualifiers that can be entered using your FPP (Frequent Player Points). For next to nothing, you can win a tournament package worth $15,000, which includes your accommodation at the PCA and a chance for glory at the PCA 2011 Main Event.
